Stick Figure Sonnet

If we swapped eyes, would I see new colors? If we traded ears, would I listen better? If I was suspended upside down like a hanged man, would my brain fall out of my head? Would it roll over to your feet? Would you pull it apart and see the ooey gooey insides and find me disgusting? Or would you love me more?

What about my feet? Would you take my feet and let yourself dance? Would you take my hands and play finger puppets in the dark?

I need you, not in the way I need air, but in the way I need my eyes to see, my ears to hear, my feet to move. You make seeing more beautiful, sounds more invigorating, dancing more passionate. Iā€™m a stick figure painted by Da Vinci. A nursery rhyme played by Vivaldi. I sense you and will never stop wanting to.
